Programs Department

Helping Families, Youth, and Community Members Grow Together

The Programs Department at MKMC helps bring the mission of the masjid to life through Islamic learning, worship, youth activities, family programming, community events, services, workshops, and initiatives that strengthen hearts and build belonging.

As MKMC continues to grow and prepare for a larger space, the need for thoughtful, well-organized, and spiritually meaningful programming is greater than ever. Programs are not simply events on a calendar. They are opportunities to connect people to Allah, strengthen Islamic identity, support families, develop youth, and bring the community together around beneficial work.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like one who did it.”
— Sahih Muslim

Joining the Programs team means helping plan, support, and deliver experiences that can leave a lasting impact. Whether you are volunteering your time or serving in a paid capacity, your role helps ensure that MKMC’s programs are organized, welcoming, beneficial, and aligned with the values of faith, service, character, and community.

This department is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, planning meaningful initiatives, coordinating details, supporting teachers and speakers, serving families, engaging youth, organizing events, and creating spaces where people feel connected to the masjid.

If you have a passion for Islamic learning, community building, youth development, event planning, hospitality, education, or service, the Programs Department gives you an opportunity to use your strengths for a purpose greater than yourself.

Why Join the Programs Team?

Join this team if you want to help create experiences that bring people closer to the masjid, closer to one another, and closer to Allah.
